Prayer & Worship
How prayer works, unanswered prayer, and worship in spirit and truth.
How does prayer work and why does God sometimes seem not to answer?
Prayer is a co-creative act between God and humanity. While the Bible affirms prayer's power, This teaching clarifies that sincere prayer, combined with human effort, establishes conditions of indemnity for God's will to be fulfilled in restoration. Unanswered prayers prompt us to examine our motives, effort, and alignment with God's ultimate purpose for creation and restoration.
What is the unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit?
The unforgivable sin against the Holy Spirit is a deliberate, persistent rejection of God's undeniable truth and the Holy Spirit's redemptive work. In this teaching, the Holy Spirit acts as the spiritual True Mother, uniting with Jesus as spiritual True Parents to restore humanity. The unforgivable sin is the willful refusal to accept this providential guidance, specifically towards the returning Messiah and new truth, signifying a spiritual state beyond repentance where one actively resists salvation.
What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit?
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a transformative spiritual rebirth essential for overcoming original sin and reconnecting with God. It signifies the Holy Spirit's role as the spiritual Mother, working with Jesus, the spiritual Father, to spiritually re-parent humanity and prepare individuals for the coming of the True Parents in both spirit and flesh, leading to physical and spiritual rebirth and the establishment of God's ideal family.
