Sanctification
Sanctification, ongoing sin, and growth toward maturity of heart.
Why do I still sin after becoming a Christian?
Sin persists after conversion because forgiveness changes our standing while character must still be rebuilt through growth. The fallen nature inherited through a false root is removed gradually as daily obedience restores what was damaged.
What is sanctification?
Sanctification is the lifelong process of becoming holy in actual character, not merely in status. It is the restoration of original nature through daily obedience, purified love, and growth toward the maturity God intended from the beginning.
